Super Bowl Snacks

If you're like us, you LOVE the Super Bowl- because it means all the best snacks are being served! We came up with our favorite finger food recipes featuring popped sorghum to add to the menu this year. No matter who you're rooting for, we promise your friends and family will be rooting for YOU to bring these tasty treats to watch the games next season!

 

Football Shaped Avocado Toasts with Sorghum Sprinklies

Ingredients:

  • Bread of choice (we recommend homemade or from your local bakery to ensure there are no corn derivatives)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Cob flavor of choice (we love Olive Oil & Pink Salt for this)
  • Garnish options: flaky salt, lemon, cilantro, pepitas

Instructions:

1. Toast sliced bread

2. Cut into football shapes

3. Slice and layer avocado on top

4. Garnish with Cob and enjoy!

 

Cacio E Pepe Chicken Tendies

Ingredients:

  • Chicken tenders or breasts cut into tenders
  • Cacio e Pepe cob
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Marinara sauce to dip
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil (we use avocado oil)

Instructions:

1. In a blender or food processor, blend the cob until it resembles flour and transfer to a shallow bowl or plate

2. Heat your neutral oil in a large pan over medium heat

3. Dredge chicken tenders- first dip them into the beaten egg, then into the cacio e pepe flour

3. Fry each side of your chicken tenders until they are golden brown all over

4. Dip into marinara sauce and enjoy!


Chili with White Cheddar Cob Toppers

We love this recipe which has no corn! For a flavorful and crunchy addition, sprinkle some White Cheddar cob over top!
